AI Disclaimer
Pipewise uses automated, AI-assisted analysis to produce diagnoses, plans and visuals. This page explains what that output is — and just as importantly, what it is not.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Informational reference, not professional advice
All Pipewise output is informational reference guidance only. It is not licensed plumbing, heating or gas engineering advice, and it does not constitute a survey, inspection, repair, or safety guarantee. It does not replace an in-person assessment by a qualified professional.
Output can be wrong
Automated diagnosis works from the words and files you provide and can be incomplete, mistaken or unsuitable for your specific situation. Always verify information independently and assess the risk yourself before taking any action.
Visuals are illustrative
Layout plans, before/after images, radiator plans, finish boards, system schematics and walkthrough videos are illustrative and for planning discussion only. They are not construction or engineering drawings. Dimensions, product selections, quantities and cost indications are approximate and must be confirmed by measurement and professional survey.
Gas and electrical work
Gas work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer (or the legal equivalent in your country) and electrical work by a qualified electrician. Never use Pipewise output as the basis for unqualified gas or electrical work.
Emergencies
If you smell gas, suspect a leak, hear a carbon monoxide alarm, or see a boiler smoking or behaving abnormally: stop, open windows, leave the property and call your local gas emergency line and a registered engineer. Do not rely on this tool in an emergency.
No professional relationship
Using Pipewise does not create a plumber–client, engineer–client or other professional relationship, and does not transfer any duty of care for work carried out by you or a third party. Installation always remains the responsibility of your chosen, appropriately qualified local professional.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the output. If you are unsure, do not proceed — get a qualified professional to assess the situation in person.
