Terms of Service

1. The service

Pipewise provides informational plumbing and heating diagnosis, planning guidance, illustrative visuals and videos, and a Project Brief export, delivered entirely online as a subscription. We do not sell physical goods, do not carry out installation or on-site work, and do not arrange or broker any transaction between you and a tradesperson.

2. Informational use only — not professional engineering

Pipewise output is informational reference guidance, not licensed plumbing, heating or gas engineering advice, and is not a survey, inspection, repair or safety guarantee. Diagnoses may be incomplete or wrong. You must verify any information and assess risk before acting. Visuals are illustrative and are not construction or engineering drawings; sizes, product selections and quantities are indicative only.

3. Gas and electrical safety (highest priority)

• Gas work — including boilers, gas fires and flues — must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, or the legal equivalent qualification in your country. Never attempt gas work yourself.
• Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• You must not use Pipewise output as the basis for unqualified do-it-yourself gas or electrical work. Doing so may be illegal and can be fatal.
• If you smell gas, suspect a leak, hear a carbon monoxide alarm, or a boiler is smoking or behaving abnormally: stop, ventilate, leave the property and call your local gas emergency line and a registered engineer. Do not rely on this tool in an emergency.

4. Eligibility and age

You must be able to form a binding contract to subscribe. The service may not be used by anyone under 13. Users aged 13–17 must have parental or guardian consent, and any hands-on work must be supervised by an adult who accepts responsibility for safety.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Plans are billed in USD on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on the Pricing page. Quotas reset each period and do not roll over. Payment is handled by our payment provider; by subscribing you also accept its terms. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, including not uploading other people's property images without consent and not using output to fabricate surveys or mislead buyers or tenants.

7. Intellectual property and your content

We and our licensors own the service and its underlying content. Rights in the material you upload remain yours; you grant us the limited licence described in the Content License to process it and generate your results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RWC PLUMBING AND HEATING LIMITED is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from reliance on informational output, from work carried out by you or a third party, or from any gas or electrical work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or misuse of the service. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom, and the courts of Scotland, United Kingdom have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
